CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
CLASS OF 2003!
The St. Joseph Catholic High School Class of
2003 graduated on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
The students attended the 11 AM Mass and the graduation ceremonies
started after the Mass.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK MAKES A
DIFFERENCE
Catholic Schools: Making a World of Difference
was the theme for Catholic Schools Week 2003, which was held from
January 26 to February 1. St. Joseph Catholic High School
participated by attending a retreat for teachers with all the St.
Croix Catholic Schools on January 29 . The retreat was given by
Bishop Murry at St. Joseph Parish. St. Joseph High School had several
contests and a fun day for part of the day on January 31. One of the
contests was to make a 1 minute video ad promoting the school.
Another contest was the making of a T-Shirt Design. Catholic Schools
Week concluded at St. Joseph High School with the Alumni Hall of Fame
Dinner on February 1.
Catholic Schools Week is a joint project
between the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and the
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Thanks to all who made
pledges in support of students or teachers in the ST. JOSEPH
CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL WALKATHON. The event was successfully
held on November 22nd. Walking at an average speed of around 3 mph,
the participants made the grueling, 10 mile course starting along the
Frederiksted waterfront and ending up at a Frederiksted swimming
pool. This event helped raise funds for the school and will be used
for such things as student scholarships, educational technology, and
professional development workshops. Contact the school by phone or
email (see below) if you want to make a post-event
pledge.
