ZIPPORAH INNISS, SJHS CLASS OF 2000, MAKES THE DEAN'S LIST FOR THE FALL, 2001 SEMESTER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER

 

Zipporah Inniss was the recipient of a prestigious Gates Millenium Scholarship when she graduated from St. Joseph High School in 2000. She now attends the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York and in the fall she will be a junior. She is majoring in Microbiology, minoring in Political Science, and doing a certificate in Public Sector Analysis. She is enrolled in Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). Upon graduation, she will be commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force. Zipporah is a freshman RA and is on the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) on campus and just recently became a certified EMT. She is a member of STING (Students Together In Networking Graduates), ADITI (a south Asian organization), the Charles Drew Pre-Med Society, Arnold Air Society (fraternity/sorority for the Air Force), Innovative Drill Team (ROTC), Freshmen Orientation Committee, and working in the Pharmacy at the hospital. Zipporah tends to keep busy but she always finds time for God, talking with her family, and time to be with her friends.
