Friday, 2/17/06. This is the 4th online lesson for the Advanced Biology class at St. Joseph High School.
PROCEDURE:
1) Check your current grades at www.gradeconnect.com You are required to do this and to inform (or show) your grades on gradeconnect to your parent or guardian.
2) Research the following according to your number:
101 - fermentation
102 - Krebs Cycle
103 - Antoine Lavoisier
104 - first law of thermodynamics
105 - second law of thermodynamics
Go beyond the book and take one side or more of notes on the topic. Give the website sources. Use the search sites that are on the SJHS Portal. This is AB-15
On a separate page do AB-16 for homework. AB-16 consists in writing a report on the topic based on your page of notes and other sources. Both AB-15 and AB-16 are due at the start of class on Tuesday, 2/21/06
3) Be sure to take your book home and read, study, and know Chapters 4, 5, and 6 for Unit 2 which ends with the test on 2/24/06. If you have any questions, send email to the teacher from gradeconnect.

2) Research the following according to your number: 101 - monosaccharides 102- waxes; 103 - enzymes; 104 - steroids; 105 - triglycerides. Go beyond definitions and take notes that you will give a speech on during class. Give the website sources. Use the search sites that are on the SJHS Portal. This is AB-05.

2) Register for Scilinks. Follow the instructions. Go to www.scilinks.org
2) Do Objective AB02. Research the following: the scientific method, evolution. Take notes and be ready to give a report on it in class. Try to go beyond what you had in your class notes.
