ASSIGNMENT RULES FOR BRO. JAMES SCIENCE CLASSES - 2004
01) Use standard size (8.5 X 11 inches) college-lined, white
loose-leaf paper for all normal assignments that are turned in. Use
unlined, white paper of the same size for drawings. Have a notebook
for class notes and assignments.
02) Use blue or black pen for written assignments and a # 2 pencil
for math calculatiolns, drawings, and charts. Have a set of coloring
pencils (5 or more colors) with you at all times.
03) Do not use whiteout. If you make a mistake with a pen, neatly
draw lines through the mistake.. Do the same with a pencil if you
cannot erase it cleanly.
04) Have an English/Metric ruier and calculator with you for all
classes.
06) Place homework assignments in the in-tray before the start of
class or they may be marked late or not accepted.
07) Follow the directions for using the assignment numbers and
student numbers on your
assignments.
08) Save all handouts, returned assignments and returned
tests.
09) Assignmnet Format: Place the Objective Number and Date on the left hand side at the top of the page. Place the Student Number and Name of the right hand side at the top of the page. Give the main title and then give the page numbers and subtiitles and details of your assignment. Use both sides of the paper and write neatly with normal spacing and margins. Be sure to number questions and follow any additional procedures as given. See the example on the Methods handout you were given at the start of this class.
